The purpose of this website is to share natural wellness information and encouragement with those of all faith and personal backgrounds so that individuals and families are empowered to make thoughtful, and for those so inclined, prayerful health care decisions for themselves and their households.
Diana Korte has said, “If you don’t know your options, you don’t have any.” There are many healthy and natural alternatives to the toxic foods, medications and household and personal care products that the average person uses daily. Many of these natural options have long track records of safety and effectiveness. It is the responsibility of each family to make the conscious decisions that are best for their own unique members and situations alongside the healthcare professional(s) of their choice.
Many of the local resources listed here are relevant to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, with some extending into the US and other parts of the world. Many other resources listed are online and available to everyone, anywhere.
The Wellness Doula
My name is Cristina or "Crissi". I am a Christ-follower, wife, homemaker, homeschooling mother, certified doula, childbirth educator, wellness educator and certified aromatherapist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. I am also the founder of Sozo Seed, a company that creates products merging art, education and games.
I love fiercely, live passionately, and find myself asking for forgiveness often. I am nurturing, compassionate, artistic, critically thinking, intuitive, and can be quite intense at times! I love all things artistic and creative including photography, writing and cooking from scratch. I cherish the simple things in life and there is nothing I enjoy more than to simply eat good food and laugh with friends and family.
I love that all of my roles/jobs/callings involve the profound honor of walking with the people God connects me with as we all seek to live consciously and prayerfully, making thoughtful life decisions from hearts of faith and love rather than in fear or pride - and seeing my own fragility and God's overwhelming generosity and grace over and over in the midst of it all.
